When it comes to rug placement, we have some recommendations:

For a 5x8 rug, it is suggested to keep the furniture legs off the rug, as this size is perfect for a small space. Regardless of the size, you'll want to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter.

An 8x10 rug will fill the visual space of a seating area, and the front legs of all furniture should be placed around the edges. Again, be sure to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter.

A 9x12 rug will fill most rooms, and all furniture should be placed directly on top to keep the space intimate. As with the other sizes, you'll want to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter.

The Classic Southwestern pattern featured in our rugs is woven with modern, contemporary colors, giving it a distressed-style pattern for a lived-in, vintage look. The stain-resistant pile cleans easily with carpet cleaner or household detergents, and the soft, 0.35-inch thick polypropylene pile adds to the comfort.

These rugs are recommended for the living room, family room, dining room, or bedroom, but we believe they look good just about anywhere! When they arrive, the rugs may be factory-rolled and have minor backing creases from tight packaging and storage, but they typically flatten within 5-7 days.
